Private Battlefield and Cairngorm National park

Climb aboard our luxury van Type MPV and travel out to Culloden Battlefield visiting the mounded Clan Graves then its a step back several thousand years at Clava Cairns , said to have inspired a famous TV series about the Highlands. Then its on down the A9, the most beautiful main route anywhere in the country to Aviemore and a visit to the Cairngorm Brewery then its onto Cairngom Mountains and a visit to the Cairngorm Reindeer Centre. Following this consideration to having lunch locally then onto Newtonmore for a visit to the Highland Folk Museum where actual historic buildings and Highland villages have been re-created. This also formed the backdrop for some of the famous TV series featuring the Scottish Highlands. Then its onto a fantastic live demonstration of dog handling skills as a real local shepherd demonstrates his skills with his large group of sheep dogs (Subject to availability) . When this is complete its return to Inverness with an option of dropping by Tomatin Distillery for a wee tasting ! Like all of our tours, this is a laid back relaxed experience where items on the itinerary can be missed out or extra added just as you wish yourself.
